HCAHPS Timeline Below is the current HCAHPS timeline. It will be revised and updated as necessary. - July 2007 - Second round of surveying begins and will continue through June 2008. This data will be posted on Hospital Compare in March 2009.
- March 28, 2008 - Data for October 2006 - June 2007 discharges is publicly reported on the Hospital Compare website. Data will be updated quarterly from this point forward to reflect the most recent four quarters.
- April 14, 2008 - Preview period for July update begins.
- July 2008 - Data for October 2006 - September 2007 data posted to Hospital Compare website. In general, the site is refreshed the third Thursday of the month, but as this update is off the normal cycle, the update may take place on a different day.
- September 2008 - Data for January 2007 - December 2007 discharges is publicly reported on the Hospital Compare website.
- December 2008 - Data for April 2007 - March 2008 discharges is publicly reported on the Hospital Compare website.
