2012 PRC Patient Loyalty Achievement Awards
PRC Achievement Awards are based on entries submitted by PRC patient loyalty clients. This award recognizes organizations at the hospital, facility, department, or unit level that have enhanced their patients' perception of care by focusing on their Key Drivers of Excellence.

Award Rules
Entries may be submitted on behalf of a hospital, team, unit or department, as long as
the data is based on the entrant's patient Key Drivers of Excellence and the entrant is a current PRC
client. All entries must be submitted electronically (via email). Attachments such as examples, forms
and education tools are welcome but must also be scanned or photographed and submitted
electronically. A project or improvement initiative may only be entered once, under one
category.
Judging
The entries will be judged by an independent panel of healthcare professionals. Judging
criteria will be as follows:
- A description of what improvements or initiatives were implemented to address the Key Driver of
Excellence. (Worth 40% of score) - How this initiative affected entrants' PRC survey scores(s). (Percent excellent scores MUST be
included for Key Driver of Excellence and/or Overall Quality of Care from before and after the
initiative). (Worth 30% of score) - The positive effect of this initiative on the culture or work of employees/staff (Worth 20% of score)
- Creativity/originality of the initiative (Worth 10% of score)
Award Levels
PRC will award Platinum, Gold, and Silver awards based on the compiled score of all
the judges. If no entry reaches the set threshold then no award will be given in that particular category.
Recognition
Recipients of these awards receive a plaque that can be displayed in their facility.
Award recipients will be recognized at our conference in Scottsdale, Arizona, June 3-6, 2012. In
addition, a description of your initiative will be published in the Ideas at Work feature on
www.PRCEasyView®.com.
Your organization is invited to submit as many Achievement Awards entries as you wish. All entries
must be submitted via email directly to Achievement@PRConline.com. Once you have emailed your
entry, you will receive a confirmation e-mail of acceptance. If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail
within 2 business days, please contact our corporate office at 1-800-428-7455.
All award entrants will be notified of their award status via email by March 15, 2012.
The due date for submissions was January 26, 2012. Because of our commitment to give judges
adequate time to read and review all the awards, late entries cannot be accepted.
